Control the most tiles on the 6×6 grid by forming valid English words and capturing your opponent's territory. Every tile you claim is a point — the player with the most tiles at the end wins!
On your turn, type one or more letters into empty cells on the grid. All letters you place in a single turn must form a straight line — either horizontally (left to right) or vertically (top to bottom) — with no gaps between them.
Your placement must create at least one valid English word of 4 or more letters. The word must include at least one of the letters you just placed. Cross-words (words formed perpendicular to your main placement) also count and must be valid if they are 4+ letters long.
When your word is accepted, every letter in that word becomes your colour (Player 1: Green, Player 2: Blue). The more tiles you own, the higher your score.
If your valid word includes tiles currently owned by your opponent, those tiles switch to your colour. Capturing is the key to turning the game around!
The game automatically detects whether you are typing horizontally or vertically:
Each player has 25 seconds per turn. If you don't submit a move in time:
When the board is completely full, the player controlling the most tiles wins.
If both players time out consecutively, the player with more tiles wins immediately.
If both players have equal tiles when the board is full or after consecutive timeouts, the game is a draw.
A player can concede at any time, awarding victory to their opponent.
A shared daily challenge against the computer (Medium difficulty). Each cycle offers 2 boards that are identical for every player worldwide. Boards start with 6 pre-filled letters (3 vowels and 3 common consonants) placed randomly on the grid. Complete Board 1, then choose to play Board 2 within the same cycle. After both boards, you must wait for the next cycle to play again.
Challenge a friend to a real-time match. One player creates a game and receives a 6-digit code. Share the code with your friend via WhatsApp, Messenger, or copy-paste. Your friend joins using the code, and the game begins. Both players take turns on their own devices.
Get matched with a random online opponent automatically. Click Play Online, enter your name, and hit Find Match. The system will search for an opponent for up to 60 seconds with a live countdown timer. If no match is found within that time, you will be automatically redirected to the Play vs Computer difficulty screen where you can choose a difficulty level and start playing immediately. Once matched, the game plays exactly like Play vs Friend — same rules, same turn flow, same 25-second timer.
Face the computer at four difficulty levels:
Capture aggressively: Look for opportunities to incorporate your opponent's tiles into your words to flip them to your colour.
Use the clock wisely: You have 25 seconds per turn — scan the board quickly and commit to a move rather than running out of time.
Build connections: Place letters that can be extended into longer words on future turns, giving you more options.
Defend your territory: Be aware of which tiles your opponent could capture and try to protect key clusters.
Think in both directions: Don't just play horizontally. Vertical words can open up powerful cross-word combinations.
